after reading the bad news I must say it doesn't surprise me but certainly distresses me. It is unfortunate in this day and age that scare tactics from the media has added to the already bad name 4wheelers have. if the the motorcycle club can run events without any problems yet a 4wd event meets such strong obstacle from both the govermental agencies and the public what chance do we have. It reinforces the view that we as 4wheelers have to get our public image up to new levels and start doing some positive actions in the medias eye. As clubs we need to be more involved in clean up days and enviro friendly acts and get away from a yobbo perception.

Good luck to the commitee in getting an event organised for next year. As to any one else organising events good luck. Club members get out there in a positive light and get the media involved showing the positive side to 4wheeling.

True Grimbo,

what we need to do, is get behind evrything possible, put our cars out there and show we care, we need to get involved in clean up, enviro days, even things like toy runs and the like for disadvantage children, we all need to keep an eye out for up an commings, and orgainse a crowd to help out,

that sucks, it seems that the council just made the rules and regulations beyond reach for any 4wd event.
