Hi spaceballs, i'm in the same boat as you. Cant afford/justify $1100 for an ARB, and my missus would kill me if i spent $800 on a Cheezy bar (although they're a bl00dy nice bar).

I have a TJM lowmount bar off a Rodeo, and a steel high mount bar off a cruiser, so i think i'm just going to build mine from scratch. I'll start off with a inner and outer sleeve chassis mount (same as the ARB ones), then use the high mount bar's winch cradle, and then run twin HD tube-bar side sections.

It will probly end up costing me $200 tops all up including paint, plus i get to make it EXACTLY the way i want it.

Coxy

PS. Do a search in the nissan forum for "tube bar" and you'll get some good ideas.
