NJ 3.5L fuel Consumption ??

Post by pajpittsy »

A mate has an NJ 3.5L GLX and is only getting 350k's out of the 70L take. I'm assuming this is very poor from the posts i've been reading. He has had an engine rebuild done about 12 month ago, but hasn't made any difference to the econ, so he just assumed that was the norm. Could it be an ECU issue?

I get about 300 ks out of 65Litres of gas or 200ks out of 40 litres of fuel sounds about the same ... they are thirsty as they are pushing 2.5 tonnes. Dont know if they are meant to drink that much though :)
