Hardtop (Resintop) hardware
Hardtop (Resintop) hardware
Hey guys,
I have a second hand, two peice resin top for a Sierra that I am hoping to install on my Sierra, but it didn't come with the hardware used to fasten it to the body.
Does anyone online source where I can locate the hardware for the front section of the hardtop. It uses some rubber/springlike hooks.

My front section (and now rear after modification) on mine uses little cam latches. I tried buying these from the manufactuerer (flexiglass) and they tried to tell me that that they never manufactured my roof! Tools, it has a massive flexiglass badge on it! I ended up getting some from a marine shop, and these are stainless too.
Don't know if this type of latch is what you need/want, but a marine shop still might be worth a crack, Also talk to the shop owner, as mine were special order not on the shelf.

Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.
These fitted mine spot on. Not sure if they deliver to Oz or even if it's worth it but may give you an idea.

difference in NT and WT body wise is minimal, tops should fit no worries. dash are different, diffs are different, NT handbrake is on transfer, WT off rear wheels.. if there is other differences.. someone will chip in..

Yes, NT and WT will interchange. Also will 1litre and coily I believe. SO long as they are all the same wheelbase vehicle.
Do be aware that some of the roofs require custom holes in your bodywork to mount, and will not line up with any standard Suzuki holes.

and the headache continues.
Finished installing the sides and roof of the hardtop, and was in the process of hanging the rear door, when one of the hinges broke in two. They are just made of plastic (or nylon) and over the years have become fatigued.
Any ideas if and where I can get replacement hinges or substitutes.
Have already bought some Stainless Steel hinges, but they require new holes to be drilled in the resin, which i am hoping to avoid.
