Modifying Vitara

Post by Forksy »

Hey guys I just got a 1994 LWB Suzuki Vitara jlx about 2 weeks back. I would like a bit more hight and bigger rubbers on it as I am bottoming out on even the smallest rock ledges. I was thinking of something along the line of a 2” body lift ,1” coil spacer, and 31” rubbers. I really don’t know what I am doing so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Luke

I’ve done a little bit of searching. I am just trying to find out what other people have done and what combination they found the best.

go a 2" body lift from Justcruzin on this board or 4wdmonthly and fit the 2" OME suspension kit, it rides great and flexes well for what you get. fit some 31's and be done with it.

forget the calmin kits they don't work properly.

the calmini under vehicle protection is well worth the coin though.

Have to disagree the Calmini kit works brilliant for me.

I got them from a mob on your side of the country, but I would NOT recommend them as they are not a very good business to deal with.
