problem with gq

i have a gq on dule fuel nd have just put a 3'' snorkle on it that faces back woods and it runs great but wen i am driving along and put my foot on the cluch to change gears or stop it dies like it is in not gettin air has anyong eles had this problem or no how to fix it thax

You need to run a balance line from the snorkel side of the air filter, back over to the gas converter. Because the snorkel is actually creating a positive air pressure (as opposed to your intakes original vacuum), when you back off the throttle the positive pressure is actually causing the gas converter to stop delivering. Any gas fitting workshop should be able to sort it for you if your not confident.

on the back of the converter there should be a plastic pipe, this is where you connect the tube.

i just we out and tryed it and it made it lose heaps of power like it was getting very little air

u should only need the balance pipe if ur snorkle head faces forward. facing backwards like u said it shouldnt make any difference to the running.
