Front wheel binding on 4Runner

Post by a-frame81 »

I have an 84 4 Runner with a 2" lift on 33's.

When the front is turned on compression I get binding up on the body work. Is there a way to solve this easily without bodylift or spacing the front diff forward?

Ta!

Is this binding on the body or the leaf spring??

I know that sometimes on full lock on a mate of mines, you could hear the lugs from the tyre on the leaf spring as it was under full compression.

Maybe check that out. ;)
When in doubt..... UTE-ERIZE it!!!

I'd say just take to it with a FBH if you don't want to do bodylift or move the diff

Definately binding on bodywork. There is a lip it looks like inside the guard. I'm pretty sure that's where it's binding. I'll try smashing it with a hammer and see how it goes.........

Thanks for your advice....
