sludge in radiator

Post by cun7s »

i was woundering if anyone has had this problem i have a deisel 1hz 80 series with saffari turbo and there is a greesy sludge oil in the radiator and over flow bottle but no water in the sump i was woundering if anyone has had this problem or heard of it and can help me out. just wondering if it might have something to do with a cracked head or the turbo.
all help would be greatly appreciated as i really dont want to rebuild the motor if i dont have too.

When was the last time you changed the coolant. Might pay to give it a good flush and see if it comes back quickly or not, Is it using oil?

Oh well, sounds like it could be bad news for you then. As above, see how it goes after a good flush. Don't forget the heater.
