80 series power steering
a lot of 80's have power steering leaks , i was just wondering wats the main seal that goes on them or how much could i get a 2nd hand power steering box .

in my case the input shaft seal was leaking.

The input shaft seal is the main seal to go, you turn it 10 times to get one revelution on the mainshaft, so it figures
A set of seals in that other box would recondition it, seal kits are not cheap,. $80 aftermarket or $200 Toyota as a rough guide, but there is very little to wear other than seals in there...
