power steering

Post by 97pajman »

I am doing a hi steer on my lux and was wondering how hard it is to steer with the power steering not hooked up, compared to conventional steering, as I might need to get to a hose place to get hoses made up.

it will be steerable but very very heavy. pump your tyres up to 50psi and/or fit the smallest tyres you can gt your hands on. I've done it a few times with 80 series and it is doable.

Thanks for that, I am not sure at the moment if I will need to, but I just wanted to get an idea of how heavy it would be if I had to

Yeah I am probably going to use a holden pump so will have to adapt the high pressure line to fit. Sorry forgot to mention the v8 fact.
