Anyone seen any of the pohms?

I see Neil's Ibex but there is also a 100 inch landy and a blue and yellow rangie. According to the site, the rangie (car 34) had diff probs?? Any advance on that???

Probably, most of the turbo cars were glowing red that night, I know Darren Green's was glowing also.

Just heard from Todd and Ivan. They are having a great time.

Good to hear the truck is still going after the initial problems he had.

video montage of day 1 + 2 - celia / eugene barry 08 obc

Post by jasonjamesbarry »

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=515kIhmBho4

I heard from celia and eugene (car - group B )
last night as they headed through Broken Hill

Reported group B had a few cars out for repairs, also been a couple of roll-overs.
Course is very tough. but they are having the time of their life.
And say that 'group B is the best group! couldn't have hoped for a better bunch of people to compete with' in their final year in the comp.

Everyone was together for 3 stages at Poolamacca. 2 stages were driving rocks and sand 1 had a couple of winches depending on the car – steep declines and lots of off camber rocks.

They were broken into 3 groups based on the results from Saturday and Sunday stages. Todd and Ivan were 3rd. behind gqhoon and muppet.

Todd and Ivan did a quick time on the first stage best in their group.

Second stage 3rd again behind birdie and cooper / hummer in the trophy truck hilux.

Third stage Todd and Ivan had to winch the hill. Got a respectable time but nothing flash.

Only damage for them was a bit of a bend in one beadlock

Muppet bent his draglink, Kym snapped a standard control arm on the first stage but still managed to get it into the finish box (if he had 2dextreme arms he wouldn’t have had a problem!!!)

Kym also ripped a tyre badly on the third stage.

Rohan and Wayne have gone to town for a power steering pump.

Now heading to Nundooka for a nav run tonight.

All Dales (2dextreme) bars and arms are holding up really well. The next big test for them will be the next two days in the rocks

That's good to hear, but the OBC website still says they have retired... What vehicle are him and Clay in? Does Norm have a new car?

The placings they raced in on Wednesday we based on how the finished on Saturday Night Stage at Stevens Creek, not the overall placings.

But I must say, Adrian is an awesome guy I raced in the same group as him in 06 OBC, he's a cracker!
