Points

Post by 2dextreme »

just letting you that the official word was re: Todd/Ivan that they lost 100pts for outside assistance in borrowing the tailshaft and then were disqualified on the motorcana stage after the protest and placed 2nd @ 1 second behind Muppet and lost 95pts. All 3 stage officials gave the OK for the tailshaft exchange but was still penalized that 195pts in total...

To Todd/Ivan 'CONGRATZ' again on your efforts and winnings!

OBC

Post by XTREME MMM »

:D :D :D

Congrats to all the competitors who competed in the 10th OBC.

It was also a top effort put in by all Queensland Teams.

It appears that every year there is always that "Parts Issue" so why not make it a lot eaiser and fairer by changing the parts rule too:-

"If you do not carry it (spare parts) and need it for repairs and get it from someone (competitor, spectator, workshop, spare parts shop or found on the side of the road) IT WILL BE A PENALTY.

This is a no if's or but's solution and everyone knows where they stand at the start of the event.

This system has worked over the past several years in the Xtreme Events.

Anyway all the best to all Teams concerned you did a top job.

Thanks also to everyone for suppling updates during the week.

Cheers
David :D :D  :D

PS if your cars are still going Round 2 ARB XWC at Rocky 6th - 8th June.
