im getting 235/75/15 (29's) tyres and will get 15*7 speedy rims. i wanto know if i get the -15 ofset rim, will the 235's stick out from the standard flares? or is 0 ofset a better choice? my cars a coily sierra.
also, if it sais -15mm ofset, does that mean the rim stiks out 15mm more than stock?
also if i air the tyres down, would 15*7 be a little wide to be able to air them down safely?
and yes i have searched (briefly )
thanks alot

29's and rim offset
Well they will be wider than stock anyway as they are a 7 inch rim not 5.5.
They will probably stick out the gaurd the slightest bit, I have the same size tyre on 0 offset 7 inch rim atm and it is pretty level with the stock WT flare (not a coily though)
And airing down will not hurt or help rub, the only part of the tyre that widens is the part on the ground and theres nothing but ground to hit there lol

Big D, did you mean safely airing down as in not rolling the tyre off the rim.GRPABT1 wrote: And airing down will not hurt or help rub, the only part of the tyre that widens is the part on the ground and theres nothing but ground to hit there lol
Well yesterday i drove my staked dead flat 30inch tyre on 15x8 rims for almost 10km along a 4wd track without it breaking the bead, as i stupidly forgot to put my spare back on.
15x7 would be a good choice.
