hi the other day my gq tb42 blew a heater hose so i replaced it but now the radiator has started to leak from around the top hose when it is cold what kind of coin would i be looking at spending to get it fixed

If the radiator is ali, I wouldn't fix it. I'd replace it with copper one.
I'm not sure what the TB42 uses but I had an ali one in my 2.8T RX. Apparantly they use them to save weight. What a waste of time. Whole new copper radiator for $400 fitted. Alot easier to repair too.
