my front left window will not work.ive tried two motors that work still no joy.ive got power going to the motor,ive got power at the switch.ive swapped the switches over, ive put the drivers plug on it and still no joy.the drivers side works fine and the motors work on that side to.ive checked the fuses, all good.is there a solenoid for each window?if so which one.its doing my head in :twisted:

You will need to be on broadband because it's a 14 M pdf. (big file)

Check the maechanial mechanisum sounds like its jammed, I dont think you have an electrical fault

but the motor wont work when its plugged in and not connected to the window mech but will work when i do the same on the drivers door.. :x

chk the solder joints on the window lift ecu (behind glove box) its very common for them to become dry joints so you wont be getting any power

ill try that tomorrow.thanks.but would this be the case as when i use the test light it lights up at the plug and after the plug before the motor?

maybe it might be earth, signal and power i am not 100%

might be enough current to light the test lamp but not run the motor, I have a cheap ECU if you need one.
