Exhaust systems for 3.0L turbo diesul Hilux

Go for a 3" dump pipe off the turbo then a 3" mandrel bent system back with a small free flow muffler to keep it legal in the noise department.
Steal or Stainless is your choice as this will effect price.

When I done my one a bit of thought went into it and a few recomendations were made by mechanics not exhaust shop people.
On a 3.0L TD it was recomended that a 2 3/4" system from a 3" dump pipe back wold be best as the 2 1/2" would still be that little bit small.
The only problem with 2 3/4" is that a lot of exhaust places don't keep that size stuff on the shelf and don't have the dies for mandral bending so I went to 3" instead of droping back to 2 1/2.
I spent a little more than others have but happy at what I got, and service I got from the guy that done it. It has been made in 4 peices with flange joints so I can remove a piece if it is bent ect..
Dump to double braided stainless flex joint.
Back end of flex joint to beging of crossover
Crossover to begining of a 85% free flow muffler(keeps the DB's legal at full noise)
then from Muffler back to end
Also re-routed the system to make other things easier to service ect so there were new mounts to put in and modify others.
What insurance are you with as I have never had the problem of an insurance company knocking back an aftermarket exhaust system.
