i have a problem with my idle speed...when the heater is on it runs at correct idle...when heater is on with air con as well idle increases about 1000k??anyone else had something similar?

i can't think of any real benefit of this cept i don't need my right foot to take of anymore so id rather get it fixed

if its desiel check the idle up[ solenoid itll b on the pump if u dunno wat your lookin for jus get someone else to turn the air con on and offf itll be the one moving it revs the engine to compensate for thr power the air con drains

You didnt mention what vehicle you have.

most likely an idle up soleniod/actuator adjustment issue.

Look for what is actuated, most likely via vacum, and then adjust accordingly.

sorry got abit carried awawy...

its desiel...the pumps just had new seals put through it last week and the bloke who done its pretty methodical so i was abit skeptical about it being the idle adjustment...but in sayin that i still haven't had a look... i'll chck it ouy tomorrow and get it sorted
