Online retailer of right hand drive replacement headlights

Post by spongerx »

I currently have a set of "christal" replacement headlights in my 03 Hilux (my model has the old style 200mm rectangular lights) and I'm absolutely sick of the shadows caused by this type of light and the lack of light thrown to the sides.

Can anyone provide the part numbers and an online retailer where I could order either IPF or Hella right hand drive 200mm replacement headlamps from?

I've been looking for a replacement headlight that I can fit an H4 bulb to such as IPF or Hella which have the lenses cut (like the old sealed beams, H6054 type) so that the side of the road is well illuminated while the light slopes off towards oncoming traffic to avoid blinding anyone coming at you.

So far I've been able to find lots of places online that sell either Hella or IPF (part number 820H) replacement headlights but they are for left hand drive vehicles so they illuminate more to the right of the vehicle and would blind oncoming traffic if I were to install them in my Hilux since I drive on the left of the road over here.

If I'm asking this question in the wrong place would a mod please move this post to the correct forum.

Thanks

Are you positive 820H is left hand drive? I run them in my triton and I'm pretty sure they throw to the left.

I stand corrected, you were right. Just had a look and mine are actually IPF 860H.

Thanks for the part number clm434.

I managed to find an online retailer carrying that model listed online http://www.extremelimitsoffroad.com.au

Unfortunately I can't order from ebay want33s but that's the style I'm after.

Anyone know of any other online retailers that might carry these type of lights?
