hi i got 35 x 12 1/2 x 15 tyres on my 80 series with standed diffs what diffs should i put in thanks guys

surely standard ones will be fine.
been in 80 standard diffs on 35s no probs.

whether they will clear and hwo your economy will change though??

It will work but reduce your power output at the treads. From memory a 35" tyre changes your overall gearing about 12% so a 4.54 (10%) or 4.88 (16%) ratio would get you back on track.

if you're happy with performance don't bother changing though.

4.56:1 for std with 35's

4.88 to one to pick up around 150 rpm more at hwy speed.

I run 4.56 with 37's.

Dont leave them standard, makes the car a pig to drive, and less ecenomical.

im running 37" with 4.88 diffs in my 80 and the speedo is out by 4 kms 104km on speedo im doing 100kms
