2.4 Litre Diesel Hilux Fuel economy
Just wondering what sort of fuel economy a 2.4 litre diesel hilux motor achieves; any ideas?

Yep, bloody fantastic.
In the Camolux (naturally asthmatic), going to the outerlimits Wild weekend, I towed a 5x3 box trailer full of camping gear and parts, had 5 34 JT2s strapped on the tray and hauled it all the way with POS in the v8 Disco behind me. Apart from the slow hills etc (LCMP is at the top of the Kilcoy range with a million hills in between) cruised around all weekend in low range, drove home and only used half a standard tank of fuel. All up around 11.5L per 100km. Yet to do a staight 100km highway test, but I imagine it would return between 7-10L per 100km.
