Just wondering what your turbo diesel idles at?? A mate of mine idles at 800. is this to high or fairly normal

Late model units should be around 750rpm.

i find mine idles at about 700rpm but with air/con on can go up to 800rpm,
this is fairly normal as there is an idle up vacuum control on the injector pump that puts idle higher to accommodate the load of the a/c compressor.
