NT Tcase into a WT

Post by Pyrotech »

quick question

just wondering will a NT tcase bolt straight into a WT?
i know the flanges are different, but i have a set of NT shafts, so i can just swap the ends of the shafts over.
but what do i do about the brake drum on the back? do i just unbolt it? or what?

As far as I know you can just unbolt the brake drum an fit a non-brake drum flange.
but....
This might be a good opportunity to raise the transfer an inch or two, fit a bash plate, and keep the brake on it.
Theres two potential benefits...
1, Handbrake will still work after you go through mud.
2, Disc rear conversion is easier without handbrake to worry about.

Just leave it on there, and dont connect it up. As long as its not dragging or full of mud/crap then its will be fine.
