Hey

As a Fj40 owner i have found that when i put it on gas i got about 450km to 80L of gas. and on fuel i got 250km ona standard 55L tank. that is with the origanal 2F motor and origanal 4 speed gear box and 31" tyers.

If you are going to get gas i would recomend put in the biggest tank you can get it will end up beeing cheaper in the long run.

diesel paj is going to be heaps more efficient, reliable and economical, i hate to say it, cause i love 40s, but they are thirsty and unreliable beasts (because of their age mainly, and the misuse, some are still great, but they are getting rarer)

i have ever owned a 40/45/42 that has been unreliable. they are remarkebly efficient on LPG. They are stupid on petrol, but on gas, its a different engine. Its like they were designed for it!

i highly doubt that a diesel pajero is going to be anywhere near as economical as a 2f on LPG, in fact, no way is it going to be anywhere near it
lpg 65 cents a litre
diesel 1.70!

its chalk and cheese.

just do it :D

used to get 350 out of 80 L of gas... or 100k's out of 55 litres of petrol (only tried it twice)

mind you it had low compression on cyl 6, the points, coil, and leads were at least 5 years old, and it was running a dodgy hong kong converter and mixer ring, so there is room for gains.
