94'80 series petrol/gas(wont rev!)

Post by AUGTREE »

G'day, I have made the mistake of washing my engine bay and now car will not rev over 2400rpm.(Only on petrol)Auto choke dosen't come on when cold, and i have reset the computer by pulling the EFI fuse and disconnecting the battery, With no sucess. It runs fine on gas but has a rough idle. I have also cleaned out the disy and spark plugs with WD 40 and air comp. Any Ideas or sugestions would be great. Thanx.

I'd try the compressed air again. Some cars are just a pain when they get wet. Blow out all the ends of your plug leads. If this still doesn't work I would start with connections on sensors.
