Hilux Steel Wheel Clearance

Post by Cool95 »

I have a 2008 SR5 I just purchased Dynamic 16x7" wheels +30 offset. The clearance from the brake caliper is around 2 mil, is this enough or am I going to have problems. They said I can return the rims, if there is a problem are there other brands out there in 16x7 that I can use?

Thanks in advance.javascript:emoticon(':?:')

So long as you don't let your wheel bearings become to far out of adjustment. You should be fine it clears so there is no problem have seen some hilux callipers get a slight touch with a grinder to get the rims to clear
plenty of parts on the bench

got a 2007 lux with 16x8 and zero offset and theres bugger all clearance between the wheel and the caliper. as long as a stone doesnt get lodged in there you'll be right.
