FJ40 Shakes at 80 but stops at 95

my FJ40 Shakes at 80 but stops at 95, ive replaced the wheels have checked wheel bearing replaced tie rod ends, steering dampners shocks and its still there, i have a problem with my springs being sagged at the moment and this bits one wheel about 10mm further back on the rear left, could this be my problem or maybe a drive sharft??

im getting really pissed about not being able to find this problem, any suggestions???

have you checked your tyres.
as in balanced or the actual tyre being out of shape.
does it shake at 40kmh

Ok what i have found from balaciing tyres at work they may come up perfectly ballanced. however when you carry out a roadforce check you will probably find that they have a excessive road force measurement around 4kg and lower is ok however when you get around 12 and above they will display wierd things like this wobbles at 80 not at 100 call your tyre shop and request a Roadforce Check.

i had problems with the last set of tyres on there and got new ones put on today so i have no idea whay it would be tyres wuth new tyres anything else it could be???

are your current tyres 12.5 wide?
are your ubolts tight?

yeah they are 33x12.5x15 on 15x8 rims, and the u bolts are tight, just put mickey thompson mtz on it to replace maxxis buck shot mudders........

my mates triton was doin the same thing, we replaced the centre bearing on the rear driveshaft today and its all good now

im running 28psi front and rear

i didnt think that the cruisers ran a center bearing, but that was a tought that i had about maybe the tail sharft, ill have a look into it. thanks for the thought

Try a higher tyre pressure, mtz can be a bastard from new !!!!!
When did it start doing it ???

Check rear pinion also, may be loose or worn

its done it from when i bought it so i just been trying to find it.ok, ill try running 35psi and see what happens, ill check the pinion tomorrow neer thought of that, ave changes lots of stuff, like tyres, ball joints, tie rod ends wheel bearings, steering dampners shocks tightened the steering box, im changeing springs this week to correct the diff alignmentg problem, and ill check that pinion while im at it, after that im gessing ill get the tail sharft look at for them joints in it and get it ballanced, if that dont fix it i think ill sell it , spent to much money looking for this

what's the "diff alignment" problem???

if the pinion and the transfer case output aren't at the right angles, then that'll give drama's/

but if they're stock springs, then i fail to see how that causes alignment issues

ok, well they're the 2" hi lift springs in there at the moment, and they have collapsed on the drivers side wich means that the diff sits further back on the drivers side by 10mm, so the distance between the front and rear tyres is 10mm different, so that puts my diff on an angle makeing the car crab down the road, and im guessing putting some sort of strain on the diff and tail shaft joints, i dont know if this could cause it to wobble tho, not unless the shaft is not ballanced now or something or one of the joints have given it in........ its pretty annoying trying to find it. but im running out of things for ot to be i think.........
