LPG and VH45
Re: LPG and VH45
if you run straight lpg, all you need is something to drive the spark plugs and coil/s.ozy1 wrote:okay guys,

There are a huge amount of vh41's being used without efi in Stock cars. They fit a distibuter where the cams sensor is and then run it as a normal V8 with a carby and normal leads to the coils.
But with what the engine can do, would a sequential injection system be better than a gas carb? Don't know much about lpg systems so I could be way off track.
Also if you do run LPG I assume you will turbo it and run about 12 -14psi? May as well if you are going to the effort.

93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)
