Updates For Wedesday

Today the whole group stayed the the same two groups from yesterday but did the opposite stages.

Group 2 first of had a navigation stage will 10points to find with a 75 min DNF, two cars did it in 36 minutes today with Car 23 (Greg Smith) 8 seconds behind the leader, cant remember who won it.

Next stage they had a run along a creek, winch up a rock face, back into the creek and then get up a sand wall along the creek then head to the finish, this stage saw a few DNF's
Car 48 Scotty Beaven DNF -broke a CV and then his rope on the rock face
Car 23 Greg Smith DNF - broke ground anchor on sandwall
Car 28 Justa Nissan DNF - no seatbelt when moved car 1/2 metre at sand wall
Car 21 The Buggy DNF - no seatbelt again
Car 17 Lowrangers DNF ran out of time
Car 13 Julian & Wayde DNF - winch problems

The third stage today saw a long creek and paddock run which saw teams all winching near the end in the creek,no updates on this yet.

Group 1 today first off had the motorkhana stage
Car 36 D&D racing was fastest on this stage in the group by 2 seconds

Second stage was the 100point navigation stage
Car 4 Muppet broke a panhard and is running around camp like a madman looking for a welder.
Car 1 Todd & Ivan broke their radiator

The third stage they are heading out after dinner.

Some Other Info
Car 12 (Dan & Graham) clutch is starting to slip so they are taking it easy, hopefully it holds
Car 22 (Colin & Mani) have fixed the car and are back racing
Car 42 (Barry & Jim) have blown their motor last night in the creek run 300m from the finish, got towed by Muppet over the finish line
Car 52 (Alan Mai) has blown up his motor today
Car 16 (Alister Grove) has been nicknamed Flamethrower with the amount of flames coming from his exhaust.

Rudi has said that he will post upto date scores uptill the end of today either tonight or tomorrow morning, so cant wait to see the results.

Hi Celia, yes I meant to say that Mick is definitely shown a marked improvement now he is not driving a Rover (sorry Mal) and is now in a NISSAN, both Max and Mick are doing well.
I think we only had 5 NSW entries and 2 are in the top 15, good stuff.

Laurie.
