Zooooooooooooooooooom!

Post by Squik »

Just got back from getting my exhaust fitted on the Jimny over at Liverpool Exhaust

Got a you-beaut-gee-whizz system put in - custom built from the block to the tip - stainless steel with hi-flo cat', mandrel bent and performance headers... $1100.00

ZIIIIIIIIING!!! Worth every cent

Acceleration has smoothed out, more oomph... sounds sweeeeet
Dyno'd it before the snorkel and exhaust - 59kW (79.10hp)... dyno'd after 62.1W (82.20h/p) :D

Thanks Podge :D

3kw? A dyno can vary that much one two runs with no difference to the vehicle.

It was just a quick run through as a favour - popped in, fluttered the eyelashes and 'can I play on your dyno-type thingy :D .

I will get it done properly at some point and post up. Amazing what a diffence it makes though... even pushing bigger rubber. Shocked at the price, but it's a top job and it is a noticable difference for the G13BB.

Between the hum of the snorkel and the brrrrrrtttttttt out the back though, need to turn up the volume a bit ;)

Thats BIG bucks for a Jimny especially.

Good thing your happy with it though.

Thats what really matters in the end i guess. Better than spending $700 or so and getting a crappy job.

Custom built, stainless mandrel bent, high flow cat etc etc mate I would be shouting them a carton on top of that price, that's bloody awsome IMHO.

So basically you scared them off then played with the Dyno yourself then :finger:

This thread is useless without pics :D

Went for a run and tore off a rubber exhaust mount trying to get up a ledge... :bad-words:

Luckily I had one sitting in a box of X-90 bits and swapped it out

... will need a new clutch soon though

Chuck in a sierra transfer with 6.5's and stop destroying clutches.
