Extended Shackles for MK Shorty
Extended Shackles for MK Shorty
Has anyone got extended Shackles on MK/MQ shorty. I need new rear springs so thinking about going 2in extended shackles front & rear as well. Already have 2in spring & 2in Body. Will I need different shocks (Longer)? Will it effect drive line? How well do they work with both lift and flex?
it will give you about 1" more lift, and your current shocks should be fine, if they are longer to accomodate the lift you already have.
ride is a scotch softer, but you wont notice it much. handles much the same, again wont notice it much due to the nature of the firm springpacks in MQs.
you will get a little bit more droop offroad. the biggest advantage to them is that 9/10 brands that make them have them as anti-inversion, which is good for the front of an MQ
