GQ sports steering wheel boss

Post by rumpig89 »

Gday

ive got a boss kit laying around from a Fj45 ute and was wondering whether this would fit the spline of a 1989 Maverick.

or will i need to buy another one to suit the maverick?

cheers

I boubt it and if not I've got a new one here for a Nissan, Fits just about every early Nissan/Datsuns according to the label on the box including Patrols.
Its a Formuling brand so I dont know what other sports stg wheels will fit it.

no it does not fit.

Also, if you buy a boss kit for teh patrol,. make sure you get the 88-94 bosskit, as 95-97 are different

the spline is the same,

but the boss does not interchange from GQ2 to older GQ the because of the column surround and /blinker-wiper horn module is completely different.

if you take a GQ series 2 steering wheel, it will not fit onto a GQ series 1.

Does anybody have any part numbers on these bosses? I tried a Saas 144L which was the one listed for a GQ Patrol and was too big for my steering columm. Any ideas?
