Rear guard and bar chop... completed!!!

Post by 86MUD »

Well...after creasing the rear quarter panel during a photo shoot for 4wd action magazine last week at Landrcruiser Mountain Park in the wet, it was time to get out the grinder. Here are the progress pics..

Just chopped the guards so far. Hopefully this weekend will get the rear bar trimmed and side protection rails welded in.

daymm looks good.
I took my rear bar off (standard ARB) and cut the rear quaters like you have and still keep hitting them. They push up and break the light sockets now :(

Finally!!!

My ARB rear bar has been trimmed and the LRA spare wheel carrier has been modded to suit..

I think all up including the mod to suit the 2" body lift, I have spent about 12 hours cutting and welding on the ARB bar and spare wheel carrier.
