proberbly a stupid question but WHY??? wouldnt it defete the perpouse of being able to lock your zook??
but if you want to.... you could make it cool and u need the key to tern the igintion on but button to start??
if so...
get out the trusty multiys......
check to see what is igintion power... take a wire from there.. and connect it to your starter swithc
then find the wire to the starter... chop it off and connect it to the other side of your switch..
that would be cool actualy....

If your going to the trouble of a button start so as to lessen theft, wouldn't you put the button where only you know where it is, key in lock, turn ignition on, find hidden button, press start; not have a dirty great big button on the dash that sez, hey look theives, heres how ya start me n take me away.
If it breaks, excellent, time for an upgrade
wire a kill switch into the wire going to the button from the ignition.
i wired a push button into a kingswood with a 2nd little bush button up near the seat on the trans tunnel so you had to push both to start the car. no one worked it out. i wouldn't put another button in a 4wd but a switch in a vent or somthing would work

cheer up emo kid
this is from another post but it is relevant
i made a switch that plugs into a suzuki wiring harness, as I had missplaced my keys. i did end up finding them but.
the barrel just plugs into the loom, so I made it so that all you do is put it in the plug, you just need to replicate that the acc is switched on and then another for the start.
I used a single position switch for the acc, and then a spring return switch for the start.
if you have the wiring diagram it is simple, if not a multimeter and some trial and error is easy, just need spare fuses.
obviously there is power to the switch and then just need to put a switch in to turn on acc, then one onto the start.
hey presto you have yourself a running zook! now go before the owner comes back!

The best place to put a second button is in the factory location for the A/C not sure where it is on the NT's but if it's like the WT then its smack bang in the middle of alll the temparature controls.
The other idea is to use the OEM demister switch from the high top, not many people would think that it was out of place in a Soft top

but the principle is what you are after
if you want to stop people stealing the car then you put another switch in that stops the perm active getting to your ignition barrel or start setup.
or you can ground the coil, means it won't fire up until you turn the switch off and the coil is not earthed out!
