wondered about these, anyone know of any issues due to the weight of a highlift and wheel on the door? they're both pretty heavy, i'm in the process of making an autotune hf bracket that will mount between the wheel and the door - gq (don't want the one that goes at the back of the spare as you have to unbolt it to get to the spare) but an autotune is really light compared to a highlift.
There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots
That's why i sold mine, it was too heavy for the door. I think the bloke i sold it to had an aftermarket ear bar with a swingaway so there wasn't an issue. I mount my high lift to the jeep's factory rollbar.Patroler wrote:wondered about these, anyone know of any issues due to the weight of a highlift and wheel on the door? they're both pretty heavy, i'm in the process of making an autotune hf bracket that will mount between the wheel and the door - gq (don't want the one that goes at the back of the spare as you have to unbolt it to get to the spare) but an autotune is really light compared to a highlift.
