hey
i did a search and couldn't find anything, i was wondering if anyone has used lovell suspension kits. and howed they go. im looking at a 45mm lift full kit.

I've got a set of lovells in my zook with koni fully adjustable shocks. It lifted the zook about 3 inches initially, but its settled down to about 2 inches lift now. They've been on the car for about a year and half now and i've had no problems at all. They flex up well too...

The Tyres are 30 x 9.5 x 15 on F100 15 x 7 Rims... I'm running the Motorway Mud Terrains... Nice and Cheap, good in the mud and fairly quite on the highway... I'd love to go BIGGER though...

i used to have 2" lovells on mine and they were great - although stiffer than stock, they still flexed well.

That front shackle angle looks very good at ride height - do you have a photo of the rear shackle angle at ride height?

These look much better than Kings, and better than HD OME.

mine were the same - and the rears had identical rear shackle angle... like i said before though - theyre pretty stiff (bumpy) but flex well.

Sorry Steve I don't have any photos of the rear shackle angle. The rear shackles don't sit on an angle at all... They're pretty much vertical... The ride with the lovells and koni's is much better than the stock setup.

my mate got the 2 inch Lovell's suspension kit with Lovell's shocks and springs about 3 months ago his car flexes real nice and is a pretty good ride for a sierra it lifted it about 3 inches and than settled down to 2, he is real happy with it.

i ran cofap shocks on mine, so cant comment other than the cofaps were great... with the springs - mine were in for about 4 years of abuse and they went awesome - so much so they still had their 2" of lift after all that time....

pretty sure when i got mine it was $1100 for spring and shocks, new bushes all round and all the shackle pins replaced (mine were rusted out). And the price included fitting.

The thing that sets the lovells apart from the rest of leaf springs on the market is that the leaf goes over the top of the bottom shackle bolt instead of underneath. I hope i've explained that correctly... $1300 installed sounds like a good price... i paid about $900 ish for mine, but i installed it myself... took me half a day to do the front and half a day to do the back. I'd never done any work like that before, but it was pretty easy and good fun!!!

Just on i side note, i'm in the process of purchasing a new zook, one that has had most of the hard work done already... So i'll be selling my current zook in the near future... if anyone is interested in purchasing the little blue zook, then send me a PM. I will post an official addvert in the "Forsale" section at a latter date...
