yups
mine was a lot cheaper thou (bout $50)
i have the usual marine carpet on the floor wells and also a piece in the back. wash out when dirty.
i dont have anything underneath the carpet also. 12mm is a fair chunk of matting.
on the sides i have custom speaker pods in mdf so only done on the floor and not over the wheel wells

haha yeah $35 per 2m x 1m of marine carpet and $79 for 2m x 1m of yoga matting (softer feel and water proof) all from clarks rubber.
i figured i could do the floor but i wont be able to do the curved bits like over the gearbox, rear wheel arches ect
that'd drop the price, then all they gota do is the curend bits i didnt do.
its really nice lookin marine carpet too!! i want to make the entire interior washout'able so i'll be putting in new drain holes with plugs, and cover up the electricals. might fab some 2mm alloy plate to cover under the dash.
anyone else done this to there sierra?

Personally i wouldn't worry about carpet unless its a street only car.
4WDing usually involved mud, dirt, stones, seeds, sticks, sand etc etc getting inside your car. Carpet catches this stuff, let alone the fact that it holds water which will then build up moisture and begin to rust.
Stone guard can be bought at most auto body shops along with the spray nozzle. When applied it looks just like rhino lining and is so easy to clean out.

How long is it since you've had a running, registered and operational 4WD?love_mud wrote:Web wheeling is clean.sierrajim wrote:Personally i wouldn't worry about carpet unless its a street only car.
