9:- Safety requirements will be a 4 point internal cage, harness (4 point) and window nets. Must be approved as legal fitment to your vehicle and plated.

WOZ wrote:Well dave , by seting it up this way, most of the vehicles that are used every day are not allowed to compete. How can having to buy and set up another vehicle be called keeping costs down. I thought the idea of this was a street class for 4x4 owners that don`t want to have a full blown race truck but still would like to have a go. Some may go on and do xwc and some may be happy to do a minor class. The way i see it , if you don`t have a gq/gu td42t swb,ute or wagon you may as well spectate.

MMMMmmm Grand Vitara with 3inch lift, tyres and a whinch![]()
on the rops thing utes cant have an internal as in queensland you cannot have barwork forward of the driver so if you use a ute u will have to have a expensive rops tray or second hand
specs on rops should be available from mine corp in brisbane...
and a short question - Snorkels? and under body bash plates??
thanks

gut42 wrote:can we bring our vehicle to you to go over and let us know what to do to fit into a class?
have you thought about running an extreme class with these guys? Alot of us already have 4inch lift, 35's, beadlocks, drop arms/boxes and stanard type engine mods for 4x4ing with our mates or clubs. We want to compete but dont wont run with the big boys.
What are your thoughts Dave?
so long as it's mod plated i'd say soBigrigCQ wrote:HiWill extra cab patrols be allowed with the mods you have listed.

If everything else complies that is OK as long as chassis has not been shortened
