Hi Guys.

Im wanting to fit my pair of 32 X 10.5 X 15 Procomp muds under a 91 Wide Track Sierra that is pretty much stock.

Im not wanting to do a SPOA conversion so I was wondering if 3 inch suspension and 1 inch bodylift would be enough to fit them under.
im also looking at installing 6.5 reduction gears.
They arent on rims yet, so i was also wondering what offset the rims will need to be.

2" Body lift and some guard massaging.

Suspension lift does not allow the fitment of bigger tyres unless the bumpstops are spaced downwards to stop the tyre travelling up into guards as far.

Meybe a 2inch suspension and a 2 inch body would do it then...i dont want to go any higher than is required to JUST fit the tires.

also, with a 2 inch body, does the steering, brake lines, fuel filler etc have to be modified in sierras??

if you redrill the spring pin hole to move your diff forward the will fit alot easyer with a 2" body lift. puts the wheel more in center of the guard

With a 2" the steering shaft needs to be extended there are a number of ways to do this, I find a double thickness biscuit is the easiest. Brake lines are fine, fuel filler is fine too.

would the brake lines be ok with 3 inch suspension and 2 inch body?

Also, what kind of rims do i need and what offset, so the tires arent going to hit the chassis rails?

Brake lines would be pushing it with 3" spring lift.. I'd get extended ones made. Rims... it's up to you but i'd reccomend 15x8 -37 offset

Where are you getting -37 rims from?! Biggest offset I could find was -25 15X8

Do a search on 3" suspension lifts. Generally, they suck. Use the BL to fit the tyres and the suspension lift to provide the ride and travel you are looking for, normally achieved with no more than 2" of spring lift.

Where are you getting -37 rims from?! Biggest offset I could find was -25 15X8
Oops i ment to say -27 offset, and they were from argy tyres at glendale (newcastle) The brand was "King" i think???

I think we should do a measurement of the main leaf lengths of varying suspension brands we all have to give an indication of which brands actually lengthen the spring for 2/3 inches of lift. I know OME do and hence their good reputation but I'm willing to bet most of the dodgey kits are just short length high arch springs with terrible shackle angle.

Trail Gear 3 inch rears are the same eye to eye as stock rears.

Straight line eye to eye, so they would be longer if you followed the curve, from the pictures I've seen it leaves the shackle angle pretty much stock
