I got a sweater for Christmas... I wanted a screamer or a moaner!
If the other box is ok, then grab it. You should be able to do it easily in an afternoon with the help of a mate.
Gearbox is nice and easy to swap on a Feroza. And YES, a 92 box will go in no worries. You'll find the job a heap easier if you have access to airtools AND get the longest socket extension you can get hold of. MUCH easier than trying to get in around the box with a socket.

Be careful you're not buying another dud box, they're not known for being the strongest link in a Feroza's drivetrain. A dealer told me all Feroza gearboxes are noisy when I was looking at trading mine in....
I had mine rebuilt, but it all depends on how long you're planning on keeping it and how much you can afford.

I just put in a 2nd hand transfer case, and now I've found out it was in need of a rebuild anyway.
