SHOW US YA.. Light bars
The Windscreen frame is pretty light material and would be very prone to fatigue at the mounting mounts- even the antenna self tapper will strip out pretty easily, let alone a bracket with 4 mounts on it.
Personally, I think I'd adapt a gutter mounting roof rack to do the job clamped to the seam on each side of the frame - this is a lot stronger than the face of the frame.
If you were handy with a welder you could fillet weld some thin doubling plates onto the frame that you could then weld/bolt a light rack onto.
Bear in mind if hte driving you do contains any overgrown tracks you're really going to want to fold them down at some time. I can't imagine how often I would have smashed lights on my roof.
Also, glare on the bonnet will need to be dealt with. That's why most comp cars mount their lights behind the cab - you can set the lights so the glare is cut off by the roof but the light is still cast on the ground in front of where the driver could see.
After all of this, windscreen frames are the first part of the car to take a hit, the first part of a car to go rusty and aren't generally easy to find. If you screw it up and tear the mounts out or something there could be quite a lot of $$ in fixing it.
Not being negative, just some things to think about.

i used the original holes for the 2 rubber spacers and that tie down point for the 3 spotties i have on the windscreen. i am using lightforce 170's so im not worried about the weak panelling because they are so light. if i new how to post pics i would sorry.

i was actually thinking of using those holes. but i wasnt sure if roof lights are legal in qld. also i wanted to mount 4 240's up there but have it easy removal.
