Over heating problems, all the time

Hey guys like i said in an early post i replaced the water pump coz the fez had been overheating & we thought that was the problem but on my way to work today i stop to fuel up & the F@#ker wouldnt turn on.... i got it running and still made to work on time.. BUT im sick of it overheating so how should i fix it? reco or replace the radiator?

Feroza = overheating

Reverse flush engine
change thermostat ( genuine seem to be best )
radiator
check engine fan hasn't leaked all its silicone fluid out
shroud is fitted ?
Check timing

If it's overheating at idle check your vaccum advance is working (and the timing is set correctly.) Only buy a genuine thermostat and I'd suggest the genuine waterpump would most likely be a lot better than aftermarket versions too.

Depending on the year model you can buy new radiators from Denso. Genuine should be around $500. Search as there is a lot of info on the subject.

not at idle it takes a while but after abit of a drive them temp creeps to half way or i needle width past half.. when i stop the car have a look under its leaking pretty hard.. but the confusing bit is that i check the radiator when it cools and it right up on the cap? it seems to be full. the overflow is also full as well

Do you get coolant bubbling into the overflow bottle when it's hot?

Nah nothing man.. my over flow bottle emptied out about half way but the radiator is full...

i just went and check it now as well co z it did it this morning and same deal. radiator level ok over flow half empty

You do realise that the overflow bottle should only be half full? It might be fuller after a long drive but that should all get sucked back into the radiator as the cooling system cools down.

last time i checked it was full to the top. the radiator was also full.

i drove it to work yesterday and it drain half out. i drove it home and the other half was gone.

I had the same problem with my Feroza and it turned out to be the clutch fan (not sure of it's correct name). It wasn't spinning when the car was at idle, causing it to overheat whenever I was stuck in traffic.

it sound the same. when i drive the temp doesnt change but when i stop at lights or just sitting idle it goes up.

First thing to check is you radiator cap. I've had a couple of them crap 'emselves. Also pull out your radiator and check it's not chockers with mud.

I did mine yesterday while I was replacing my alternator and washed a couple of kilos of mud out of it Engine is much less "tappetty" now she's cooling properly again
