first off is there any Aus distributors of these springs?
i am SPOA and have a front bar with a winch on it. so the front springs are now inverted (bending the wrong way) i just added an extra leaf from a stock spring pack (bottom leaf) and it still hasnt fixed it. so i need some heavy duty front springs. i was looking at the bonz eye springs because there made from a SPOA and look a bit more heavy duty.
i know i need to extend my bump stops to stop the springs inverting but if i extend them with the springs i got now i will be riding on bump stops. will you lose any flex extending them?
also i was thinking of doing RUF with the bonz eyes springs if there any good, to get soome more flex but i will be redrilling the springs mounts. i was lookin on lowrangeoffroad and see a missing link kit. says its basicly a bolt on RUF?

91 SWB Sierra. 16v 1.6efi, extractors, 6.1gears, SPOA, 32 BF muddys and 2inch bodylift
Stock OME Rears will provide about 4" of lift when used in the front. If you pull springs to flatten them you'll be back where you started.
Joe's recommendation of stock Suzuki with an added leaf will be the only real solution unless you have a "lifted" pack de arched, or try the Bonz-eye.

Do you have a set of stock rear springs to try ruf?
Do that and see how you like it, I did mine with stock rears with over load leaves removed and added the bottom leaf from a front pack. This set up works great for me I have an extra leaf in driver side to support my weight .
You may need an extra leaf to support the winch.
The benifit of the bonz springs is they have a reverse eye so you would still have an arched spring to keep handeling etc but it would sit lower than a ome one.

so what your saying is use the standard rear spring sup front. add a leaf from the front pack and put in say an OME heavy duty leaf?
or would it be easyer to get rear bonz eyes springs and add leafs to them if need be?

i was thinking because of the extra weight over the front it would equal it out?

as said, if your doing this (above quoted) use sierra std or lifted (minus a few leafs) rear springs... or (sorry some of you) hilux springs, your modding it anyway so why not, usd is almost equal to aus dollars but why buy springs from there when you don't have to wait or mess around.. outers or wreckers or your mates back yard.. quicker, doable , cheaper and better...brendan_h wrote:

See link to "The UFO" below for SPOA on lux leaves... being wider and a little thicker than zuk leaves they are holding their arch so far in mine, even though i run them nearly dead flat (only 3 leaves in the pack) - plus the flex theyre providing is insane!
