New NH v6 questions

Hey, I've just purchased an NH 3.0ltr LWB as my poor ol gen 1 is giving in to rust in a a big way! The new one is an auto GLS with factory rear diff lock and sunroof. first off i could not find anything on the forum about 3.0 NH factory locker, is it the same unit as the 3.5, if not what are they like strength-wise?

Also, the sunroof is severely rusted, but it is only the moving part, not the body. does anyone have a method for repair or know what models roofs will fit this one?

At the front end, it has the 7.5inch diff i assume - i have seen the howtos for swapping in the 8inch into a gen1 7.5inch, and they need the axles and prop-shaft swapped too. Do i need to swap everything when doing the gen2 8in into the gen2 high pinion 7.5inch? plan on going for an RD110.

how does the early ABS go offroad? is it multimode?

Hi I nave a nh 3.0 lt manual The factory locks are as strong as but i dont know if they r the same as the 3.5's (we nh got to test them). as for the sun roof if u can sourse another 1 from wreckers is the way to go (i dont think the roof canged till nm) cant help with the diff swap but why do it anyway? and as for abs what abs ????????

yeah this one has ABS. just wondering if it has any quirks offroad. thats great if up to NM had the same roof, thanks for that, it improves my chance of finding one i guess!
i wanted to do the diff swap to fit in an RD110 ARB locker

pajmoneybox has abs we have the main power wire (from memory its the thick white wire )wired through a continous solinoid which is to a switch so it can be switched off. We were going to swich it from the 4wd light but never got around to it.This was done after taking off down hill in reverse and not being able to stop it.This car also has a factory rear diff lock which has never given any problems considering it has engine mods to cope with aswell.
