I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had a internal beadlock leak b4. One of mine leaks into the main tyre. I put 50 psi in the beadlock and 40psi in the tyre but after a week they are both the same pressure so the beadlock must be leaking into the tyre.
Are these things repairable ???
I have never had a puncher in the tyre so it seems sucky that the beadlock has a leak.
Is there anywhere in south bris that repairs these things or am I up for a new beadlock??
Any info will be much appriciated.

Go see Ryano at Fourbys, he'll sort it out for you with minimal fuss. He might be able to tell you why it leaked while he's at it. He'll be the bloke in the chaps.

They need a bit of maintenance if you run low pressures otherwise mud gets through the bead and can wear a hole in the tube.
There has also been a slight change in the second valve setup which will also improve the life of the tube.
I have upgraded one of mine to the new system as the tube had deformed around the flap for the second valve.

93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)
If you take a 4x4 off road then it needs maintenance more so than driving around town. These are no different. If you notice mud in the bead then you will need to strip it down and clean it like any other tyre with a tube. If you don't eventually the tube will get a hole worn in it.
I'm not talking every few months here but once a year maybe, less if you don't get into ruts etc. I do mine on a pretty regualr basis but thn mine is a comp truck so pushing things a bit harder than most.

I bought them second hand and the guy told me that he had let the beadlock down my mistake and the tyre spun on the rim. It was all straightend up but the damage was done it just took a little while for it to show up.
I orded a new tube from redlands 4x4 so I just have to get it fitted now.
Apparently you have to be very careful when fitting them as a slight crease or miss alignment in the tube will cause it to split down the track. The guy from redlands knows of 3 ppl that it has happend to so its more common then one would think.
Atleast I dont have to replace the whole thing.
