I think it's originally a Buick motor from the US IIRC???

A bit of work to make it fit, but it's been done here a few times at least as they're dirt cheap 2nd hand.

I'd be more inclined to go for the Suzuki Vitara 2lt and boxes.

I thought the block is based on a Nissan VG series V6 engine.
The engine u see on the Fairlad 300zx.
And they just bored and stroked it up.
I might be wrong though

No, they are defiantly of Buick origins, the motor isn't good enough to be based off a VG

Nope - the enigne was developed in the early 80's for front wheel drive Buicks. It's a GM design.

The motor in that photo is an Australian commodore motor, not the US Buick version which has different trim. By the early 80's, Buick had supercharged versions of this motor, which Holden in Aus picked up by the mid 90's.

They make pretty good off idle torque but they're nothing special - cylinder head design etc is pretty poor, as an example - and I wouldn't use a motor that heavy/torquey in a feroza, especially with a stock front end.

Also, I don't imagine finding parts for one (or gearboxes to suit) would be too easy in the Phillipines.
