G16b IAC valve

Post by PCRman »

Can anyone check and tell me which way around the IAC valve connector is wired. Blue/black to the front green/black to the rear or the other way around?

many thanks

Thanks Joe for checking that. I just found another thread that talks about IAC and has a photo clearly showing correct wires. Funniest bit was i had seen it before and forgotten  .

Onto my next problem, Idle persistantly at 600rpm. I can get it up to 800 but that messes up my IAC duty cycle and i can get my duty cycle to 50% but only if the revs are at 600rpm :bad-words:

I'm chasing down soem other causes to my problem (newly reconnected EGR leaking at idle etc) but I wondering if anyone has a 93 16V vit FSM and could share the idle speed/IAC duty cycle section?

please.....

Yeah I checked part 1 and 2. It talks about setting the dsuty cycle for hot idle to 2-30% what ever that means and claims it can only be done with the tech1 scanner. Also the manifolds are different (its the one one ur baleno that has the throttle body at the front of the plenum rather than coming off to the side (lucky thing  )

thanks for the tip. I will head over if i cant get it sorted.
