a cool 75 series

Post by dumbdunce »

I snapped this cool looking bit of custom work driving down from Katoomba on thursday.

looks like it uses a FRP top from a middy, cut down, with the rear window from the 75 in the back of it, and extra 7x door skins making up the lower sides.

yeah the bloke and his missus were in the front and there was at least 1 ruggie in the back, there was seat belts in there so I imagine there must have been a rollbar around the back too. didn't get close enough to get a real good look.

so basically 75 series ute (ie tray), 4.2 diesel & hopefully turbo, seats 5 but no rear set of doors, rollbar, etc etc

sounds like a awesome rig. in fact, must be near to ultimate 4wd, able cater for everyone.
