Cruiser questions.

Post by Fmx_Aus »

G'day all,

Just picked up a 45 Series Petrol ute the other day and have a few questions for those in the know:

1. How do I go about cleaning the carby??

2. I cant seem to find a new airfilter in any shops for it, but have found a reusable one on ebay, or would it be easier to take the whole assembly off and run a pod filter or something on there.... opinions??

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/AFE-PERFORMANCE- ... dZViewItem

Any other tips or advice on this model vehicle would be great.

Thanks in advance.

ask at repco, or even better, at one of those independant parts shops, they will either have them in stock, or order one in. better than a pod...

what tips do you need??? :D Drive it for a while and fix whatever breaks i guess

Looks like a normal filter setup. (I think)

I will look at the Ryco A340 and see if its the same, I could just be blind

Mainly bought it as a shooting rig, and to drive to work every morning. (It does not like the cold morning starts haha)

I will have a geeze at that site shortly. Thanks
