Curious to know what other people with TD42 turbos figures are like at cruising speed - say 100-110 on level ground.
I know theres a lot of variables but it would be good to see the range of figures.
Mine is making 2-3 pounds at cruise and the egt post turbo is about 250- 280. EGT goes up to about 300 when towing a small tinny, about 400 towing a car trailer and makes about 8 pounds pulling this at 100. Any sort of incline and these figures are lot higher.
I have 31" tyres so these figures are at about 2300 rpm.

At around 100-110kph my boost is about 8 pound. The EGT is sitting around 320-370C.
I actually backed the fuel screw off on mine the other day, because the EGT's would jump up quickly when I got to a hill and I would continually have to back off the accelerator or change it down a cog. Just 1/8 of a turn has made a considerable difference. I have lost a little bit of power during take offs but can get up the hills on the highway quicker because I'm not backing off as much.

I'm using the same digital one which is the topic of the current group buy thread. Its incredibly sensitive - the slightest change in pedal position and it will change instantly. They are a great gauge, unfortunately my first one only lasted about 2 months....

I think your comments are a little bit too general. Yes we see lower temps than what we log on the dyno, but not 150c. At 600c thats a 25% inacurracy, I don't think vdo would stand for that.
Care to tell more??
Yes all temps should be done pre turbo, but in real life its not always the easiest thing to do.

get around 300 degrees post turbo and 8-10 psi boost at 100 odd kmh.
i think it depends on how much power/boost/tyres/vehicle running
