My brake lights don't work

My brake lights don't work
My brake lights aren't working, only tail lights. Could it be the switch above the brake pedal???? I have checked fuses and earths and everything is ok
Whats up!!
Brake light switch
I'd also be checking out the switch at your brake pedal, Take the wires off the switch and alternately short, then open the connection between the two while somebody looks at the lights for ya.

No need to disconnected the wires to short them- just short out the switch with a screwdriver/ short piece of wire or something similar.
Also have a close look at the wires where they're joined to the switch, one vehicle I had they were soldered onto the switch and had come loose.
